There is nothing like the excitement that grabs you as the runners line up at the 2200m starting gates for the R2 million Durban July, off at 4.20pm today, and if one of our horses win, we’ll party until dawn. If they don’t, we’ll party anyway, because this is South African racing’s greatest day of the year!
