Our work rider Anathi Feni rode in his first Work Riders Plate yesterday on our runner Inherit The Rain, and won it!
Feni (19) brought Inherit The Rain through with a well-timed run in a 1200m sprint at the Vaal to win at 19-4 from a fast-finishing runner-up, Differentiate.
Feni had previously worked in the Cape for Glen Puller and also completed his course for work riders at James Maree’s academy.
He is the son of Lindile “Shorty” Feni, long time stable employee in Johannesburg and a regular n Dubai.
“Shorty and Anathi ride some of my best horses. Anathi has a nice pair of hands, he rode a confident race on Inherit The Rain, well done to him.”
