HAWWAAM’s full-sister In Limbo (Silvano x Halfway To Heaven), makes her debut over 1160m on the standside track at Turffontein on Saturday.
Three-year-old In Limbo is in a large field of Maiden fillies- 17 are carded to race – and Gavin Lerena takes the ride.
Mike de Kock commented: “It’s time for us to get going with In Limbo. It’s clear to see on her pedigree that this is way too short for her, so we’ll be hoping for a quick pace so she can run on.
“If the pace is on, In Limbo will be finishing off strong and she’ll be able to get into the money. But she hasn’t shown near Hawwaam’s ability, so we’re expecting her to improve on her debut.
“There are are one or two form runners in the race, and a few first-timers, the form is not easy to assess, safest to say she has a first-four chance, but she’s not one we can label a first-up winner.”
