MIKE de Kock sent out two winners at the last Turffontein meeting of 2018 – Bold Silvano gelding Naizak got up to win his Maiden by a short head under a foreceful ride from Muzi Yeni, and Dhabyaan (AUS), rallied late to get the better of a game Norland in a Merit Rated contest over 1400m. He was ridden by in-form Diego De Gouveia.
Naizak (blue cap), had to fight for a narrow win.
Dhabyaan looked beaten but fought back gamely.
