COSTA Livanos and his family enjoy being trackside when they have runners and naturally even more when they have winning chances.
The Livanos family made the trip from Gauteng to Greyville on Saturday to watch Kingmambo’s Legacy line up in a MR78 Handcap over 1800m on the Polytrack and the three-year-old gelding by Ideal World rewarded their confidence with an easy win under Anthony Delpech, his second from 10 starts.
Costa, Chris Gerber and Mike de Kock own Kingmambo’s Legacy in partnership and would have been delighted that he enjoyed a surface he hadn’t raced on before as this will present more winning opportunities going forward. He’s versatile, having won over 1200m and placed up to 2450m on turf, so there will be several handicaps to pick from. Kingmambo’s Legacy will win again.
