TABYA stretches out on the sand track at the Vaal to record her third successive win for apprentice Julius Mariba in a Conditions Plate over 1000m on Monday.
Tayba is also effective over 1200m, has no problems with turf and looks like a prospect for the coming spring/summer racing season on the Highveld.
She is a four-year-old filly by Western Winter from Atyab, by Mr Prospector and races for Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum’s Al Adyaat South Africa.
