Good strike rate

Jockey Muzi Yeni has an excellent strike rate for Mike de Kock, even better after Sunday’s meeting at Scottsville where he booted home Ingqele and Khetiwe’s Destiny.

This season, Muzi has ridden 62 runners for the stable, posting 13 wins, 5 seconds, 11 thirds and seven fourth places. The wins include the Grade 1 Gold Challenge on Dave The King.

The stats represent a winning percentage of 20%, and a win-place rate of almost 60%, the type of figures astute punters can make a few pound on.

Sunday’s winners are both owned by the Hollywoodbets Syndicate – both promising horses who will win their share of races.
