The Robbie Griffiths/Mathew de Kock partnership enjoyed two winners at last week’s VRC Carnival in Melbourne, Australia, in the company of big names like Chris Waller and Gai Waterhouse.

The stable commented: “What an amazing week we had at Flemington – still celebrating the first and third by Najem Suhail and Halvorsen (Listed VRC GH Mumm Century Stakes) on Thursday, we were back in the winners circle and again on a high on Saturday thanks to the deeds of the exciting up-and comer Rey Magnerio (World Horse Racing Grand Handicap).

Rey Magnerio won the last race of the 2023 Carnival, ending it on a great high for the yard.

“The Melbourne Cup Carnival is over for 2023 and we can’t wait to get back into it today The hunger to push the stable forward for all our owners burns more than ever  – 40% Winners to runners in this years carnival. The target is simple, to get more runners in it in 2024!” said Griffiths on Twitter.
