Mujbar, imported from the UK with racing and stud plans, has arrived at Mike de Kock’s yard at Randjesfontein.
A winner of the Gr3 Horris Hill stakes and Gr2 placed as a juvenile, Mujbar is an athletic and good-looking son of Oasis Dream’s successful sire son, Muhaarar, out of Madany, a stakes-winning daughter of Acclamation.
Mujbar is a half-brother to the Gr1 Royal Ascot Sprint winner, Eqtidaar, and to Massaat, who was second in both the Gr1 Dewhurst Stakes and the Gr1 English 2000 Guineas.
Mike said about Mujbar: “He’s impressive, with depth of girth and good clean legs. I like him, there is a lot of horse to work with here. He arrived from quarantine in very good shape and I look forward to training him.”
Mike said that Mujbar will be prepared patiently, step-by-step, and that races will be earmarked for him as he progresses.
