Trois Trois on the up

He wasn’t ideally course and distance suited, but up-and-coming Trois Trois Quatre slammed a MR79 field over 1800m at Turffontein on 2 September, carrying top weight of 61kg to a five-length success. This completed a hat-trick of wins.

Trois Trois Quatre is a four-year-old gelding by Rafeef out of Badger Creek. He races for the Hollywood Syndicate and was ridden by “new daddy”, JP van der Merwe.
