Cracking results at BSA August 2-y-o Sale
August 29, 2022Mike was confident that both Iphiko and Angelsea would win on Sunday, note his Betway comments, and they made up for Sequioa’s disappointing Friday run. The double worked out to 14-1.
“We can’t always be spot-on, but I hope punters got some cash on the double,” said Mike.
Iphiko (Trippi), owned by the Hollywoodbets Syndicate, ran a cracker of a race and won by more than three lengths under Keagan De Melo. Mike has suggested that she has come back really well after a rest between February and August and she now be watched for improvement.

Angelsea (far side) had to work hard for a good win.
Angelsea (VAR) also benefited from the same length of break and Mike noted that she’d e well suited to the 1750m. She’s one that showed good early promise, she fought hard for this first win in the hands of Kabelo Matsunyane and now that she has exited the Maidens can win again. She races for Mike in partnership with Chris Haynes.
