Off the mark for Lady Laidlaw

We were privileged at Turffontein Thursday to have our first winner for Lady Christine Laidlaw’s Khaya stables – Archer’s Girl winning her Maiden in game fashion over 1600m at Turffontein.

“Lady Laidlaw, as we know, is a great patron of racing and she’s invested here over many years having had champions like Noordhoek Flyer, Capetown Noir and Real Pincess.” said Mike de Kock.

Archer’s Girl is superbly bred by Dynasty from Gr1 winner Happy Archer (Dubawi), and she was raised by Drakenstein Stud. We’ll be looking for her to improve with racing and to win more.
