Malmoos has enjoyed an excellent preparation and Mike de Kock said on Saturday morning the colt is ready for his much-anticipated clash with older stars Summer Pudding and Got The Greenlight.
Three champions come into the Gr1 4Racing President’s Champion Challenge over 2000m at Turffontein, all at the top of their game, but there can be only one winner and Mike said: “It’s a great race, and the race itself will show who the best of the three is.
“In trying to assess it, I can only draw a line of form through Copper Mountain, and on that, Got The Greenlight and Malmoos are right on top of each other. And then there is Summer Pudding, a star and unbeaten here. It’s a wonderful race for all of us, bring it on, let’s see what transpires!”
