JOCKEY Anthony Delpech, suffering from an ailment, has been replaced by Brandon Lerena on Silver Thursday in Saturday’s Gr1 World Sports Betting Fillies Guineas at Kenilworth.

Silver Thursday, who shortened from 12-1 to 11-1 for the race this week, travelled well and is in good shape, as can be seen in the photo taken on Friday morning by Mathew de Kock.

“Silver Thursday is a very smart filly running over her right trip for the first time. She’d actually do well over further too,” Mike de Kock commented.

Mathew, who will be saddling on Saturday, said:  “She has a tough draw in a competitive field but obviously we think she is up to this standard. With a bit of luck in running she should go well.”
