THEY’re called white, blue or grey – whatever you prefer – they’re beautiful all the same!
Steven Jell sent us these photos of geldings Sir Bob (dappled grey) and Happy Valley, playing in the paddock at Mary Slack’s Abington Place, Newmarket.
He tells: “Both of them were shipped back to South Africa earlier this year. Jessica Slack wanted a nice riding horse for Mauritzfontein Stud and being an Irish Sports Horse, Sir Bob was perfect. He is ‘bomb proof’ and a comfortable ride.
“Happy Valley was Sir Bob’s mate, they went back together. ‘Happy’ was also a bit of lead out horse, he has retired to Rachel Slack’s farm and is enjoying life.”
