GR1 Allan Robertson Championship winner Entisaar has a good chance to get back to winning ways in Sunday’s R150 000 Listed Laisserfaire Stakes over 1100m at Kenilworth.
Entisaar (blue silks), looks course and distance suited.
She was second to Silver Mountain on her Cape debut (Choice Carriers, 7 November, 1400m) and was then beaten 2,15 lengths behind Carry On Alice over 1000m in the Sophomore Sprint on 5 December.
On that occasion Entisaar had both Cuvee Brut and Real Princess (2,10 lengths) and Real Princess (1,35 lengths) in front of her and she meets them on 2kgs and 1kg better terms respectively.
Mike de Kock, speaking from Dubai, acknowledged that the swing in weights would be an advantage and said: “She will be better over this trip too, she is bound to be very competitive on Sunday.”
Assistant trainer Clayton Matthee will be doing the saddling duties.
