MARY Slack’s Toro Rosso (Brz), is improving with every run and looks a smart prospect for the new season.
The four-year-old colt by Elusive Quality toyed with his opposition in a MR93 Handicap over 1450m at the Vaal on Thursday, racing home nine lengths ahead of the runner-up under Anthony Delpech.
This was the Haras Old Friends Graduate’s third win from five outings and he’s already won a sprint on turf as well – versatility is the name of the game these days and this bodes well for the hard-galloping bay colt.
