AVONTUUR’s Stud’s Pippa Mickleburgh reported on Sunday that the farm’s promising imported stallion Oratorio’s first foal had arrived.

Pippa told: “She’s a filly out of the former top race mare Mochachino,  a strong high quality filly and therefore a half sister to Mike de Kock’s promising Var filly Varachino, who won her second start last week. She’s in fine form and looks a talented sort!”

She said that Oratorio is fully booked for his 2014 duties and doing very well.

“Over 120 foalsby Oratorio are due this year and they’re out of fantastic mares. We have lots to look forward to!”
