PROMISING four-year-old Royal Ridge was beaten only a length-and-a-half on his Dubai debut, a 1200m sprint on turf at Meydan on Saturday.
Mike de Kock was happy with the Tiger Ridge gelding’s run, saying: “He ran very well for a horse that needed it. He is crying for the all-weather track and he will make good improvement now.”
