MUSIR was super impressive winning the recent Al Maktoum Challenge (Round 1) at Meydan and he looks set to follow up in tonight’s Al Rashidiya (Gr2), over 1800m on turf at the Dubai track.
Mike said after the Maktoum: “He’s stronger than he was as a young horse, he’s in the manger and he’s tougher, he takes his work and racing much better now.”
He added to this on Thursday morning, commenting: “Musir has no easy task tonight, he’s in a race with good horses, but we fancy him. I’d be disappointed if he is beaten.””
