BALADA Sale, the Argentinian-bred champion filly that was due in Mike de Kock’s stable for the 2012 Dubai World Cup Carnival, won’t be joining the yard after all.
Form Bloodstock’s Jehan Malherbe comments: “The deal was done with bloodstock agent Emmanuel De Seroux, we organized the shipment, a co-load and a travel subsidy for Balada Sale but then had to hear from the shipping agent that she wasn’t coming!
“De Seroux didn’t have the courtesy to let us know and on request stated that he hadn’t known, but also said that Balada Sale’s owners, the Yoshida family, did not want to risk running her on the all-weather track at Meydan. Yet she has been entered for the UAE Derby by a different trainer.”
