MIKE de Kock was most pleased with the runs of Light The Lights, Noah From Goa and Suyoof at Meydan on Thursday.

As reported earlier, all the Blue stables inmates have weight to shed and needed their runs, but the trio indicated that there could be good things ahead.

Light The Lights finished only 5,50-lengths off promising Benbatl in the Gr3 Singspiel Stakes over 1800m, running on late and looking a happy horse.

Noah From Goa moved up well in a handicap over 1400m, just tiring late and beaten two-and-a-quarter into third , and Suyoof was just a further length-odd back in fifth.

“I am very happy. I think they will all win during this Carnival, there is good improvement to come.”
