SUNRISE at Randjesfontein, Sunday, and Diane de Kock, as “Mother” of a large string of two-year-olds, posted this photo on Twitter, saying: “Walking the babies on a cold winter’s morning.”

Winters are not the most pleasant at the North Rand Training Centre, especially when there’s a breeze, but Di has a kettle boiling in the office kitchen and she would have had her first warm “cuppa” long before most of us have woken up.

That’s the life alongside thoroughbreds. All good, really!
