OF the last five three-year-olds to run in the Gr1 Queen’s Plate there have come a winner, a second and a third.

Seemingly Bold Rex, who lines up in Saturday’s renewal at Kenilworth,  is a fair bit better than his Premier Trophy run on 17 December would suggest.
