TODAY’s BSA Cape Mare and Mixed Sale will commence at 10h00, and the horses will be sold in the following order:
– All Drakenstein lots, followed by
– All Varsfontein lots, followed by
– Winterbach and Haug lots
This is to comply with the AHS movement protocols. Buyers of the above horses are to note that the horses will be moved straight from the auction yard back to the stud of origin. Please discuss the collection of your horses with the respective stud/s whose horse/s you have purchased.
Lots will thereafter be auctioned in catalogue order.
Movement of horses from sales yard
All buyers are to note that all horses moving into the surveillance and free zone are subject to pre-notifications and health certificated. Health certificates will be issued by Dr Marianne Thomson. The Equine Research Council (ERC) and State Vet official are on site to deal with all permit applications.
Any queries regarding movement or proposed movement can be discussed with the ERC and State Vet officials on site.
