AVONTUUR Stud’s exciting young sire Oratorio looks to have a really smart performer to his credit in the form of the Aga Khan bred and owned filly Eshera.
The latter pulverized subsequent winner Aimhirgin Lass at the Curragh to win by seven and a half lengths at just the second time of asking, and connections clearly hold Eshera in high regard.
Oratorio’s daughter Eshera with trainer Dermot Weld.
The sophomore filly currently holds two group race entries – she is an entrant in the G3 Invesco Pension Consultants Desmond Stakes, and Eshera also holds an entry in the Gr1 Coolmore Mastercraftsman Matron Stakes, to be run on September 12th.
Eshera, an impeccably bred filly who is bound to excite interest when she retires to the paddocks, looks to have a bright future ahead of her, and is yet another fine ad for her former European champion sire Oratorio.
The latter, a champion at both two and three and one of the legendary Danehill’s finest sons, will be shown, alongside a sample of his first South African born foals at Avontuur on July 29th.
