MIKE de Kock’s runners in Sunday’s Graded features at Scottsville are both fit and well and expected to make an impression.
Square Dance, has a fighting chance.
Mike spoke on Friday about Square Dance (Gr 2 Gold Circle Oaks) and Kingston Mines (Gr2 Track and Ball Derby, saying: “Square Dance ran a good race in blinkers last time, she enjoys this trip and stays well. She has a money chance.
“Kingston Mines is a solid stayer and he’s doing fine. He doesn’t travel all that well in a race so we’re trying blinkers now, he’s capable of better than last time. Deah Kannemeyer’s Hot Ticket is hard to oppose at the ratings, our horse will be thereabouts.”
