A magnificent Dynasty colt bred by Varsfontein Stud topped the charts when selling for R1,2 million at the Val De Vie Yearling Sale held at a cooking warm Franschhoek today.
Named Playboy Prince, the handsome bay is out the winner producing Jet Master mare Kiss And Fly.

The second and third highest prices of R950 000 and R900 000 were also credited to Varsfontein.
Lot 23, Hack Green, a son of Gimmethegreenlight, out of the well-related Fort Wood mare Secret Mission attracted plenty of attention, while lot 4, Doosra a son of Captain Al out of a solid black-type family went for R900 000.
