WILGERBOSDRIFT Stud had a massive influence in the outcome of the CTS Book 2 race of R 2.5 million, staged at Turffontein on Tuesday, 10 February.
The winner, Siren’s Call, is from the first crop of freshman sire Elusive Fort, who in turn was bred at Wilgerbosdrift.
Elusive Fort, promising stallion.
Second placed Trophy Wife, was bred at Wilgerbosdrift and is a daughter of the now deceased Wilgerbosdrift stallion Tiger Ridge.
Third placed Easy Lover is a son of Wilgerbosdrift based sire Right Approach. His dam, Miss Gold Digger, is in turn a daughter of another Wilgerbosdrift based sire (now too deceased) in the shape of the Rich Man’s Gold.
Three good reasons to take a more careful look at Wilgerbosdrift’s draft at next week’s BSA Val De Vie Sale.
