SPRINTING Ace Shea Shea, working at Newmarket in preparation for the 2014 Gr1 King’s Stand Stakes over 1000m at Ascot on 17 June.
The King’s Stand Stakes is a part of the Global Sprint Challenge and carries a stake of £375,000 (approximately R6,5-million).
Brian Joffe and Myron Berzack’s six-year-old hasn’t raced since Dubai World Cup Day on 29 March when he was beaten 0.25-lengths into third by Amber Sky in the Gr Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan.
Shea Shea was narrowly defeated by Sole Power in the 2013 renewal of the King’s Stand Stakes.
