May 30, 2014GOLD Circle will stage four trial races on the new Polytrack surface on Tuesday evening, 3 June, with the first race going off at 4.45pm and thereafter at 25 min intervals.

“Although no betting will be permitted on these races, they will be conducted under full raceday conditions and will be covered live by Tellytrack”, said Gold Circle’s Racing and Marketing Executive Graeme Hawkins. “That said, all are most welcome to attend the trials and full bar facilities will be available”, he added.
A total of 101 entries have been received for the four races, which will be run over distances from 1200m to 1600m, and declarations fall due on Monday 2 June at 11am. Punters attending the trials will be provided with details of the runners and riders on arrival at Greyville.
The first official race meeting on the Polytrack is due to take place on Wednesday afternoon, 11 June 2014.
