CHAMPIONS Day at Turffontein this Saturday 27 April presents horseracing fans with a feast of high-quality action and a new bet from TAB.
TAB recently introduced the Jackpot QuickMix, which comprise races from different meetings with the aim of completing the bet in as short a timeframe as possible.
The Jackpot QuickMix has proved popular and on Champions Day TAB will launch the Place Accumulator equivalent – the BlitzPA.
Unlike the normal Place Accumulator, which comprises seven consecutive races from one meeting, the BlizPA races will be sourced from different race meetings. On Champions Day, the BlitzPA will comprise four races from Turffontein and three from the Kenilworth meeting on the same afternoon, enabling the bet to be completed in less than two hours.
TAB will also operate a Jackpot QuickMix on the two meetings.
Champions Day is Africa’s richest raceday and TAB has a full betting menu to enable horseplayers to maximise the excitement of betting on the nine feature races on the programme. TAB’s betting line-up for Champions Day is:
* Betting opens today 22 April
* TAB customers can take an All To Come on any race meeting from today until Friday 26 April (excluding France, Italy, Macau, Sweden and Turkey) and make the last selection either a Win or Place bet on a runner in either the Computaform Sprint (Race 5) or the President’s Champions Challenge (Race 7). Mark FUTURE 1 on TAB betting forms for the Computaform Sprint and FUTURE 2 for the Champions Challenge.
* Place Accumulator (Race 3 to 9); Pick 6 (Races 4 to 9) and Jackpot (Races 5 to 8) as normal.
* BlitzPA (Turffontein Race 7, Kenilworth Race 6, Turffontein Race 8, Kenilworth Race 7, Turffontein Race 9, Kenilworth Race 8, Turffontein Race 10).
* Jackpot QuickMix 1 (Turffontein Race 8, Kenilworth Race 7, Turffontein Race 9, Kenilworth Race 8).
