FOLLOWING the success of Royal Ridge at Meydan in Dubai last Thursday, Wilgerbosdrift Stud’s stallion Tiger Ridge added two more winners to his tally when Indira and Everlast won for Mike de Kock’s stable at Greyville on Sunday.

Muzi Yeni rode Indira to victory in a Maiden Plate over 1000m, winning by 1.25-lengths. She’s a daughter of 2008 SA Fillies Sprint winner, Rat Burana, who also raced in Wilgerbosdrift owner Mary Slack’s familiar black-and-red silks.

Everlast, owned by Markus and Ingrid Jooste, won his second race over 1600m, partnered by French-born jockey Cedric Segeon, who rides work for the yard at Summerveld.

Tiger Ridge, a champion first and second season sire in South Africa, is a Storm Cat half-brother to AP Indy and Summer Squall.
