Lonsome Dove is Klawervlei-bred by Trippi from Western Honour, by Gone West, and she showed excellent pace in a Maiden Juvenile Plate over 1200m, leading from the off and building up a six length lead before being eased down to win by 1.50-lengths at 11-20.
