MARY Slack’s filly Welwitschia, to be ridden by Anton Marcus, has been priced up as the 28-10 favourite for the Grade 2 R600,000 Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile with Pierre Jourdan at 7-2. Another Slack runner Kavanagh, is at 4-1 with Dancewiththedevil at 9-2.
