INTERNET-based horse sale site Gavelhouse is to add an integrated Sires directory for all stud farms in New Zealand, South Africa and Australia to its website.

“This is a very exciting time in our building phase.  We clearly have set the benchmark for both local and International Stallion sales and have a proven track record in Stallion bookings across our global network,” Gavelhouse principal Gary Moore said yesterday.  “This development will allow more owners and breeders, unprecedented opportunities to enquire about breeding prospects through the direct email communication to nomination managers on any Stallion, from any country in the Southern Hemisphere.”

Moore is working with Arion Pedigrees in New Zealand to bring the information to his site.  “Our agreement with Arion pedigrees, allows us to provide enhanced information on Stallion data and we are looking forward to providing this service at no cost for the coming season.  Technology is the key factor in growing the sport of thoroughbred racing and we are firmly committed in our goals to create new opportunities for breeders and build long-term relationships.”
