DANEHILL Dancer filly Berry Blaze raced away to a 2.25-length win in a Progress Plate over 1400m at Greyville on Tuesday, 19 April, giving jockey Kevin Shea a double for the evening.

Mike and his team have always rated this three-year-old filly as above average and she already has  Grade 1 place to Igugu to show after only four starts, although she was well beaten by her stablemate.

Mike said: “Berry Blaze is smart. She has plenty of stamina in her peigree and she’s getting better. We’ll go for the KRA Fillies Guineas next, she should give a good account of herself.”
