SPY Glass (Anthony Delpech), ran out an easy winner of a Maiden Plate over 2000m at Clairwood on Sunday, enjoying the extra ground and the addition of blinkers to his equipment.

Spy Glass took no prisoners!

He is by Fort Wood from Lorgnette, was raised at Wilgerbosdrift and is owned by the partnership of Mike de Kock, Ferdi  Ladeira, Gary Grant, Chris Haynes, Peter Sargent, Dr John McVeigh and Noeline Malherbe.

Wilgerbosdrift also opened the day with a win by Coral Garden, a Tiger Ridge filly owned by the Tiger Ridge Syndicate.
