AFTER her scintillating victory in last Saturday’s L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate, Mother Russia has moved to the top of the J&B Met log, displacing Pocket Power who has dropped to third.
There have been a number of changes to the log for the Western Cape’s premier race to be run over 2000 m at Kenilworth Racecourse on Saturday, January 29.

Tales Of Bravery, after his gallant second in the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate, moves into second while Run For It, judged unlucky in the Peninsula Handicap where he finished third behind Lion In Winter, has moved up into sixth place.
Trainer Joey Ramsden supplemented Lion In Winter at the second and last supplementary stage on Monday and the gelding has immediately slotted into 16th place on the log after his win in the Peninsula Handicap last week.
The final field will be announced on Monday, January 17, with the draw for barrier positions to be done on Thursday, January 20.

Rudra won a very good race today at the big T . What are the chances that he will run in the J&B Met ?
Also Perana has drifted alarmingly in the betting for the Met , is there any particular reason for this or is it
because some odds layers can’t see him beating Mother Russia at the Met weights ?
Go Mother Russia go girl!
See lead article Sunday, yes Rudra will run in the Met.
Perana will be aimed at Triple Crown in Gauteng.
thank you for your reponse!
Imo Rudra will give them a fright come the met , he has good place chance.
