Soqrat and ‘Buffalo’

MIKE de Kock was happy with the runs of Soqrat and Buffalo Bill Cody in last week’s Champions Cup at Greyville and has reported back.

He said: “Soqrat ran a big race from an outside draw, he was just beaten by a super horse in Rainbow Bridge. Soqrat is a sound horse, he is furnishing and we look forward to his campaigns in the new season.

“Buffalo Bill Cody ran like a horse who was affected by his second run after a lay-off. He was pushed along to get into the race, never found his rhythm and was blowing a bit afterwards.

“But despite that has was beaten just 2.90-lengths in his first run at this level, and under lights, so there is every reason to be pleased with his run too. Another we’ll be expecting big things of this summer.”
