BETWAY SA had their Johannesburg launch at Turffontein last week and Mike de Kock was hosted by Betway boss Jonathan Blumberg and company.
Mike, who is an ambassador for the online betting company, said: “Betway are putting back into racing and I am a proud ambassador. All the bets struck by South Africans on the tote with Betway will be returned to racing’s stakes pot via the tote, they won’t be offering the Open Bet. So this will give a much needed boost to our stakes.
“Betway also does good work at grass roots with grooms, stables and in soccer, they give back to the community all the time and its a formula that works. They’re putting back at the right level.”
