LIVERPOOL goalkeeping legend Bruce Grobbelaar was a special guest at last November’s Charity Mile, at which Battleoftrafalgar (Captain Al) won the inaugural R1-million Monaco Million Maiden Sprint for Mesdames Magnier and Nagle of Coolmore fame, Mike de Kock and Dave Maclean.
Here’s Bruce handing the winner’s trophy to Mathew de Kock and we re-hashed this pic because we’ve never seen a trophy quite this big, and we haven’t actually published it before.
“We’ve put it on display in the Fun Box at Turffontein,” said Mathew de Kock, who will have to careful not to invite too many big guys to the box, all at the same time.
