WELL-fancied Suyoof and Icy Trail, both unplaced in a handicap over 1600m on turf at Meydan on Thursday, bled during the race.

Mike de Kock reported: “They were examined, scoped and both were found to have bled.”

Mike added: “Bleeding has been a problem for us this season, more so than in previous years, and we can’t offer an explanation why. We can’t put our finger on it.”
