THE muscled Variety Club is seen striding along at Sha-Tin in Hong Kong on Wednesday morning.
Variety Club, in preparation for Sunday’s Gr1 Hong Kong Mile, worked evenly on turf under big-race jockey Anton Marcus and was clocked at a steady 30.9s through his final 400m.
Marcus said of the 16 time-winner and dual South African Horse Of The Year: “He felt good. No problems.”
Mike de Kock will be arriving in Hong Kong on Thursday.
