SUPERSPORT deemed Mike de Kock’s two winners in Dubai last Saturday important enough to give horseracing some exposure on their popular Supersport Blitz channel on DSTV – a full 8 minutes for an internationally renowned achievement for South Africa they had to cream off the airtime given to the hugely entertaining spectacle of cricket,  cricket, some rugby and also cricket.

The ubiquitous Andrew Bon tracked Mike down on the golf course in Dubai and they review the runs of Vercingetorix – “a horse that keeps winning and growing in confidence” and  Shea Shea. Mike also gives his opinion on Joey Ramsden’s Variety Club, surprisingly beaten on the same night, talks about the Grooms Co-Op Initiative and bloodstock export protocols.
