BEACH BEAUTY, convincing in the Maine Chance Farms Paddock Stakes, goes for a Grade 1 double in the Klawervlei Majorca Stakes over 1600m. She will again be opposed by stable companion Jet Aglow who was third in the Paddock and fourth in last year’s Majorca. Also in the line-up is Hammie’s Hooker who finished just in front of Jet Aglow in the 2013 Majorca and just behind her in this month’s Paddock Stakes.

In The Fast Lane, winner of the Avontuur Cape Fillies Guineas and second in the Paddock, heads the three-year-old challenge.

Interestingly Beach Beauty, In The Fast Lane and Jet Belle – who ran on strongly to finish second in last Saturday’s Grade 2 Sceptre Stakes – have all drawn badly.
