ON 17 May the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund’s (HRADF) Board of Directors qualified 2PU, the consortium formed by PMU (Paris, France) and Phumelela Gaming and Leisure (Johannesburg, South Africa) for the purpose of participating in the tender procedure for the grant of the exclusive right to organise and conduct mutual or tote betting on horse races in Greece for a period of 20 years.
PMU and Phumelela Gaming and Leisure are working on a project that will benefit the whole Greek horseracing industry and allow a sustainable and profitable growth of the horse race betting market.
PMU is the French reference for horseracing betting. As the European leader,the PMU has enjoyed a steady growth since 1997. PMU exports French racing to more than 40 countries. In 2010, following the opening of the French online gambling market, PMU branched out and extended its offer to online sports betting and online poker. PMU is a dynamic, modern multi-activity and multi-channel betting operator.
