TELLYTRACK will move from its current channel of 232 to channel 239 from Monday 1 October.

The change is a result of DStv’s decision to expand the network. A number of new channels will be introduced from Monday and to accommodate them some channels are getting new numbers. Channels are being grouped by genre to make it easier for viewers to find content.

According to DStv, the decoder should automatically switch to the new channel numbers at the time of the change. However, if the numbers on the decoder are incorrect, DStv recommends a simple reboot. Switch the power off at the wall, wait 20 seconds and then turn it back on. Do not interrupt the process. Wait for normal video to resume before proceeding.
