WAR ARTIST gets a washdown from his groom at Mike’s Dubai stables on Monday.
The nine-year-old will be having his second start for the yard in the Group 1 Al Quoz Sprint on Dubai World Cup Day, a race in which he was second last year.
War Artist enjoys a splash of hose in Dubai.
He ran well in the prep on Super Saturday (he placed seventh) and trainer Mike said: “He really rather surprised me in the Meydan Sprint and ran a good race. Luck in running is going to be key with 16 runners charging up that straight but I am very pleased with him and he can run well definitely with conditions to suit him.”
