A glorious day in Johannesburg, near 25 degrees and sunny at 9.50am and we’re hoping the rain stays away.

Assistant trainer John Buckler reports from Randjesfontein that alll today’s runners are in excellent condition and race-ready.

The six Sansui Summer runners and their grooms will be leaving on a float to Turffontein at 12pm for their 4.45pm engagement in front of what is expected to be a 10,0o0 strong crowd.
